The Employment Rights Act 2025 has brought changes to family leave rights and introduced a new enforcement agency, the Fair Work Agency.
Join us for peopleHUB’s third session of ERA 25 Unpacked, where Victoria Brown will provide an update on the new family leave rights that were implemented at the start of April 2026, as well as the Fair Work Agency and its enforcement powers.
Date: Thursday 14th May
Time: 10:00 am – 10:25 am
Location: Zoom
From April 2026, an additional requirement for employers to maintain accurate annual leave and holiday pay records for their employees was introduced. Employers are expected to retain these for at least six years. Enforcement will fall under the Fair Work Agency. They will have the power to inspect records and take action where employers fail to comply. Victoria will explain this new obligation and explore how HR software can support compliance and streamline record-keeping.
